Cancer is a word that we all dread and an illness that has touched all of us in one way or another. Our charity weekend, Friday 26th to 28th September, focuses on charities that help and support those touched with Cancer. We are participating in MacMillan coffee morning on Friday 26th raising money for the MacMillan charity. Saturday we turn to local hospices who are the most incredible charities with so much support and comfort for those suffering with cancer and their families. Dougie Mac and St Luke's Cheshire Hospice are 2 amazing hospice and charities that we know have touched our amazing customers and even your landlady Emma. Emma’s late father passed away after a sudden 7 week battle with bowel and liver cancer and the Douglas MacMillan Hospice was a lifeline of support for her and her family during there terrible times. Emma has even now finally fulfilled her father’s last wishes of having her own Sunday League football team in his memory and has his name running through the players kit as a mark of remembrance. Join us on Saturday 27th September for the second day of our charity fundraising weekend. During the day from 3pm we have our Killer Darts competition hosted by our fabulous Slow & Easy darts team….. will you end up the Killer? Saturday 27th from 9pm we bring the incredible Ultraviolet Band back to the Slow! From your landladies home town, this band are not to be missed. Free entry on the night with lots of chances to raise money for our worthy charities.

26th - 28th September is our Charity Fundraising weekend. We will be raising funds for several charities over our Charity weekend and we want you, our amazing customers, to get involved! First up is our Macmillan Coffee morning but we do this with a twist!
